Hi friends , today I am sharing some healthy advice for you to take care of your mother. On upcoming mother’s day you should give a gift of good health to your mom.
So here I am talking about some essential health check ups for your mom ( age around 40 & above ). In today’s lifestyle there are high risks of Osteoporosis , heart problems, breast cancer & gynec problems for women.
Your mom will be busy for taking care of yours; so its your responsibility to keep an eye on mom’s health.
Osteoporosis is a condition which weakens bone and increases risk of bones breaking. Bone mass decreases after 35 years of age & bone loss occurs more rapidly in women after menopause. Risk factors for this are genetics, lack of exercise, lack of calcium & Vitamin D. Most importantly patients with osteoporosis have no symptoms until bone fracture occur. Therefore to take precautions is must. And take your mom for Bone Density test or DEXA Scan. Heath tip – Diet must contain calcium rich foods along with regular exercises.
Take her to the Doctor & go for this essential check ups :
Eye exam – Every 2 to 4 years
Blood pressure – Every 2 years
Pap test & Pelvic exam – Every 1 to 3 years
Thyroid – Every 5 years
Mole check – Every year
Mammogram – Every 1 to 2 years
Blood glucose – Every 3 years starting at age 45.
